As a long established manufacturer of hard landscaping products we like to go about matters differently, to challenge convention and think outside the square.

We’re happy being an alternative independent company, and over recent years Oakdale have focused upon the development of innovative products and production methodologies, wherever possible incorporating environmentally friendly materials and processes.

Our ambition to set new standards and become the foremost sustainable manufacturer of hard landscaping products with the lowest carbon footprint in the UK has resulted in the creation of a concept which we refer to as Greenscaping® – or hard landscaping which is kinder to the environment.

Our Greenscaping® doctrine has become a catalyst for sustainable innovation and free-thinking. In a radical break from traditional hydraulic wet-press technology, Oakdale successfully developed new groundbreaking production techniques. In addition we have formulated a range of affordable Low Embodied Carbon Concrete (LECC) batch designs, when deployed together with our unique and EcoPress®Technology and DBT® production processes we are able to offer what we believe is the lowest carbon footprint currently available and still remain true to our original corporate strapline of “Sustainable & Affordable”.

To highlight our commitment to sustainability a recent Innovate UK project estimated the impact of Low Embodied Carbon Concrete (LECC) combined with our unique EcoPress®Technology and DBT® production processes reduced annual carbon consumption by 25% or 4,026 Tonnes, the equivalent of taking 900 cars off the road or powering 500 houses for a year, making a tangible impact for a greener more sustainable future.
